The saga started in 1979, with a Matriculation school located in Eachanari, Coimbatore. Right from its inception, giving the best in all forms is Rathinam Groups’ only motive. After making a healthy run in the industry for more than 20 years, Rathinam Group expanded. Now it is called Rathinam Tech zone, a campus with various institutions, encompassing the spectrum of Pre-KG to Ph.D. education and Technology Parks, including a Special Economic Zone (SEZ).

There are 4000 students enrolled under the institutions and 14 companies located inside the IT Park and SEZ, backing more than 2500 employees. Rathinam Group also has multiple faces by pioneering education, Information Technology (IT) development, and infrastructure development (IT Park/ Housing Development) in South Coimbatore. Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates belonging to all categories except Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes for admission to the B. Pharmacy course must have obtained individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany & Zoology or Mathematics both in theory and practical with a minimum of 35% marks. Not less than 40% aggregate marks in the above subjects is mandatory at the qualifying examination (Academic Stream) after a period of 12 years of study. i.e. 10+2 pattern of education.
  • Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes not less than 35% aggregate marks.
  • Candidates qualified in the Diploma in Pharmacy examination conducted by the Board of Examinations of the Government of Tamil Nadu or any other Board of any other state recognized as equivalent there to by the authority of Medical University.

As a student of Pharmacy, you will learn about the diverse sources of medicines, related formulations, doses and their effects on the human body called the therapeutic effect.

Four-year degree course of Pharmacy deals with various subjects that broadly include synthesis of drugs, formulation of dosage, their chemical, instrumental and preclinical analysis, testing of new drugs on laboratory animals, patenting of the new drug, marketing of drugs, etc. The study of herbal medicines is also one of the interesting branches of Pharmacy education.
